Who Goes There? Wildlife Tracking Workshop with Ed Sharron of the National Park Service
One World Conservation Center, 413 US Rte 7 South, Bennington, VT
Saturday, February 3, 2018
$5

Who’s walking in the woods? Join us for this 3-hour workshop with National Park Service Science Communication Specialist, Ed Sharron, to learn the tracks and signs of many common Vermont mammals that you may find in the Bennington area and at the Greenberg Reserve. We may spot tracks of fisher, red fox, bobcat, and many more!

We will begin the workshop with an indoor discussion, and then head outdoors to put your new skills to the test. All ages are welcome! Please dress appropriately for outdoor activity, and bring a water bottle, snack, and snowshoes if possible. If you need snowshoes, let us know.

Since 1999, Ed Sharron has worked as a park ranger in several of our country’s beautiful national parks, including Glacier NP, Voyageurs NP, and Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP. Ed has been leading wildlife tracking programs for schools, workshops, and the National Park Service for more than 10 years.
