Looking for something different and fun to do during break? OWCC educator, Sam Strubel, will lead an interactive walk in the Greenberg Reserve. Explore nature with all your senses and stretch your body to the rhythm of the elements and animals surrounding us. Enjoy creating mandala art from what you gather around you.

Things to Bring:
Dress for the weather- you will be going outside!

Program will be held at the One World Conservation Center

413 VT Rte. 7 South, Bennington, Vermont

Fee: $12 per child per session and $11 for each additional child in the family, Parents free. Under age 8 needs to be accompanied by an adult.  A minimum of 15 students is required for the program to run. Space limited to 20 students.

Bio

Sam Strubel has a B.S. in Elementary Education along with a liberal arts major in Sociology. She is currently teaching fifth grade at The Village School of North Bennington. Sam has enjoyed working on an organic farm for multiple summers, teaching and counseling at an educational farm in New Hampshire, as well as working for a local environmental horticulturist.

She is passionate about spreading nature and body awareness to younger people through yoga and outdoor experiences. She has been practicing yoga for eight years. In her free time, Sam loves to experiment in the kitchen with wholesome foods, take care of her extensive plant collection, go on outdoor adventures, and spend time with her friends and family.
